We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of our Therapy Cat Development Program in 2027, an initiative designed to prepare carefully selected Siberian cats for meaningful roles providing emotional comfort, companionship, and therapeutic support. As part of this exciting next chapter, our founder, Beth Feild, will complete her certification in Animal-Assisted Therapy, combining professional education with years of experience raising, socializing, and matching Siberians with families who have unique emotional and developmental needs. Our goal is to take the natural intelligence, affectionate temperament, and intuitive nature of the Siberian breed and develop those qualities through a thoughtful, structured program.

Unlike traditional kitten placement, our new program will focus on selecting young adult Siberians whose temperaments demonstrate exceptional potential for therapeutic work. These cats will participate in a comprehensive developmental program emphasizing confidence, emotional resilience, adaptability, and trust. Through positive reinforcement, gradual exposure to unfamiliar environments, new people, sounds, movement, handling, and everyday situations, we will help each cat develop the skills needed to remain comfortable and engaged in a variety of settings. Special attention will be given to recognizing stress signals, respecting each cat's individual limits, and building positive human–animal relationships. Not every cat is suited for therapy work, and that is precisely why thoughtful selection, preparation, and evaluation are so important. Our vision is to develop not simply wonderful companions, but confident, well-adjusted Siberians capable of making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
