About Sunshine Snow Siberians

Welcome to Sunshine Snow Siberians.

I am Beth Feild, founder of Sunshine Snow Siberians, and I’m honored that you’ve found your way here.

My relationship with this extraordinary breed began in 2018, during a season of life defined by both fullness and complexity—raising a busy family while navigating significant cat allergies with my son. In my search for a feline companion that could truly belong in our home, I was introduced to the Siberian: a breed renowned for its naturally lower allergen profile and exceptional temperament. What began as research quickly became devotion.

When our first Siberian, Roxalana, joined our family, she transformed our understanding of companionship. Intelligent, playful, intuitive, and deeply affectionate, she embodied a rare blend of presence and gentleness. It was impossible not to fall in love.

Shortly thereafter, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. During treatment and recovery, Roxalana became my constant companion—quietly attentive, endlessly comforting, and unwavering in her companionship. In a time marked by uncertainty, she brought warmth and emotional grounding. That experience reshaped my sense of purpose. I knew then that these cats were not simply beautiful—they were profoundly healing.

I have loved animals for as long as I can remember, having grown up in the countryside surrounded by barn cats, feline friends were a significant part of my childhood. In 2020, I partnered with a like-minded breeder who shared my values and vision, and together we began breeding Siberians with intention, integrity, and care. When my first breeding partner retired in 2023, I was introduced to Shawna Barry of Grace Siberian Forest Cats. I founded Sunshine Snow Siberians to continue—and elevate—that work. Today, Shawna and I support one another as breeders and our customer base extends from North Carolina and South Carolina, throughout the Southeast and across the United States.

My cattery is intentionally small and deeply personal. All kittens are raised in my home, immersed in daily family life, and guided by a developmentally thoughtful kitten training curriculum. This curriculum has been reviewed and approved through my affiliation with the North Carolina School of Veterinary Medicine, ensuring that each kitten receives an exceptional foundation—emotionally, socially, and behaviorally.

Our breeding cats are selected from championship bloodlines sourced exclusively from carefully vetted catteries in Russia and the Czech Republic. We adhere to rigorous ethical breeding standards, comprehensive health testing, and responsible placement practices. Excellence, to us, is non-negotiable.

My children, who grew up alongside our Siberians, have each taken a cat with them as they’ve built their own lives—a quiet testament to the depth of connection this breed inspires. Over the years, families who have welcomed Sunshine Snow kittens remain part of our extended circle, sharing updates, photographs, and stories as their cats mature into beloved companions.

Beyond our cattery, I serve on several nonprofit boards focused on spay/neuter initiatives and animal welfare. Stewardship—of animals, of families, and of community—is central to who I am and to everything Sunshine Snow represents.

At Sunshine Snow Siberians, placement is deeply intentional. My commitment is to guide each family toward the right match—a healthy, emotionally secure Siberian who will offer years of companionship, comfort, and quiet joy.

This is not simply breeding.
It is legacy, responsibility, and love—curated with care.
