FAQs

Have your Kings and Queens been health tested?

Yes, all Kings and Queens have been tested for health-related diseases and genetic issues. Our Kings and Queens have all tested negative for HCM and PKD. All of our cats receive regular veterinary check-ups, dental check-ups, and required vaccinations. Our breeders are also tested for viral related diseases such as FIV and FeLV.

What vaccinations will my kitten have when he/she arrives? Will he/she be microchipped?

Your kitten will receive all age-appropriate vaccines including FVRCP and potentially rabies (rabies is an age-dependent vaccine). A dewormer and flea/tick treatment will be provided as it is required for any type of organized transport (if needed). Your kitten will receive a health check, and certified vet records will be provided.

Your kitten will be microchipped, and you will be provided with their number and instructions on how to register your kitten’s microchip.

Do you provide a health guarantee and contract?

We provide a one-year health guarantee. Details regarding our health guarantee will be provided in our contract. We are happy to answer any questions about this.

When can I take my kitten home?

You can pick up or we can have your kitten delivered at 12 weeks of age. We keep kittens until 12 weeks as their mom is busy nurturing and socializing them until that point. This also gives us time to ensure your kittens receive the proper vaccinations. With regards to transportation, you are free to come an pick up your kitten. We can also coordinate a transport organization for long-distance deliveries.

I have heard that Siberians are better for people with cat allergies. Is this true?

Siberians typically have a lower level of Fel d 1, the protein in a cat’s saliva, skin, and urine which spreads to fur and dander. With that said, is not a 100% guarantee. We can provide a fur test for you, and we can have your kitten tested before delivery.

What else is in your contract?

Our goal is to safely preserve the health and welfare of our kittens and cats, and the Siberian breed. We require all customers to sign a contract that covers the following:

  • You agree your kitten will be an inside cat. Catio and supervised/harness time is recommended.

  • You are not a breeder (unless otherwise negotiated) and agree to spay/neuter your kitten by 7 months of age. The only exception to this rule is if you do purchase a breeder cat from us, which requires a separate contract.

  • You will not declaw your kitten.

  • You will agree to care for your kitten in a loving, nurturing environment.

  • We know that sometimes unfortunate circumstances occur. Per our contract, we reserve the right to purchase your kitten back if you find yourself in a situation where you may potentially need to rehome your pet.

Can I visit your cattery?

Yes, we are happy to schedule a visit with you! We are located in Raleigh, NC. We also do Facetime and Zoom calls with potential long-distance customers.

How much are your kittens?

Our kittens are priced at $2,500 USD as of January 1, 2026. This does not include transportation if needed.

How can I spot a scam cattery on the internet?

Unfortunately, some catteries are a scam. These catteries are set up to look like real catteries, and it is so heart-breaking! We have met buyers who have lost money, so we have provided this information in our Q&A so that you can spot if a cattery is a scam. If you have been researching other catteries and suspect one is a scam, contact us and we are happy to help you.

Some signs that a cattery is a scam are the following:

  1. Pricing is too good to be true. The price of a quality Siberian cat is typically between $2,000 and $3,000 USD. If a cattery is asking for $500 or even $1,000 for a cat, it is typically a scam. You could see retired breeders or rescued Siberians for this price, but if the price is low, you need to understand why.

  2. You are not able to Facetime or visit your breeder. You minimally need to speak to someone over the phone, it is better to Facetime or visit the breeder. Some catteries are closed and won’t schedule visits for the safety of their kittens, but there is no reason why a breeder can’t Facetime or schedule a video chat with you. While all breeders should be registered with the appropriate registering organizations, unfortunately paperwork can be forged, so publicizing their TICA and WCF registration is good, but no guarantee.

  3. Cats can be transported to you within 24-48 hours from a distance. While sometimes possible, it’s not probable, at least with our kittens. We use a specific transport service when needed and it takes time to schedule.

  4. Check for social media pages and ask for referrals. All catteries, at least in the United States have related social media pages. Check your social media sources to validate the cattery in which you are interested.
